Proper TPU support settings for clean removal?

I'm printing some cosplay parts making tpu "foam" by having them be all infill and no walls. The first attempt went well but the supports I had to use damaged the print on removal. The supports are required due to the shape. Im trying out a few different settings like z distance and removing the interface layer.

What is distance of support from part and fan cooling speed when printing support/interface

Is that "top z distance" in orca? Sorry some of the terminology changes between slicers. If it's that, it's .3mm. If it's "top interface spacing" it's .5. As for the support interface fan I think it was disabled cuz I see it at -1% on the filament setting

what do you recommend there? Increase the fan speed on the interface?

I'll have to mess with orca again when I get back home to remember what these do

With TPU you will always have to rework the support, I think you can configure as much as you want, it will never be pleasant. Multi-material printing might be a good option here, use a material as support to which TPU does not adhere during printing.

I have two TPU profiles: one for large overhangs/flats/euclidean designs. Actual work parts basically. Then another for organic/varied/more difficult geometries. Honestly that works for a lot of materials But I started here with it

So these are just having a curve underneath and unfortunately no otherb position will really work.
