Blobs on Perimeters

Hey guys, Got a problem with blobs on the perimeters and I have no clue where this comes from. The printer is freshly calibrated for Temp, Flow, PA and Retract. About my setup: V-Core 3.1 300mm (enclosed) RatRig Toolhead with Orbiter2.0 and Rapido 2 UHF (stainless steel Nozzle) Filament: BambuLab PLA Matte (fresh roll, checked it on my X1C but no issues there) Parameters: Temp: 200°C Retract: 0.4mm with 240mm/s retract speed PA: 0.020 Flow: 0.9508 Maybe somebody has an idea what I could check - I have no idea anymore.

Retraction speed is too high .. for Orbiter it should be at 120mm/s max. Sometimes even a lower retraction speed of 50-30 would give a better result

I also tried different retract speeds and it made no difference

If i might suggest, try to lower the retraction speed to 60mm and increase the print temp. Your print color looks matt it might require more heat

When you slice the model, where does the slicer show the seam(s)? Does it correlate to where your blobs are showing?

It should be matte because it is matte filament 😄 It correlates with the perimeter crossing so i think it has something to do with nozzle oozing. But it makes no sense because i already print at 200°C which is low for BBL PLA (220°C at the X1C)

You shouldn't need retraction at all with pla typically. Try rotating the model 90 degrees in the slicer and reprint. See if it follows the rotation and stays on that side of the model. Do you have scarf joint seams on?
