VC4 400 Hybrid
Please evaluate and interpret the charts, I've been struggling all day and I still have one peak.

yeah you need to fix that one peak. Are you running hybrid mode now?
Was your X gantry straight before you added your belts? If so yours could be like mine and the XY joiner stacks are too tight
yes, I use a hybrid with reinforced idlers from ratrig, the gate was rather straight before installing the belts, where to look for the problem?

did you follow the commisioning guide and tuned your corexy belts before the hybrid belts?
if so what was your results?
Sorry, these are graphs for the corexy belt only, without the hybrid, i.e. without the Y belts.
you prob have some issues with your beltpath
check that nothing is binding somewhere. That the belt is not rubbing against the top/bottom of the gears on the motors, derack your gantry etc
you also prob have something rattling on your toolhead, secure the wires down and make sure all screws are tight
@devart Have you fixed the issue?
Unfortunately no, I've been struggling with this for quite some time and I have very little time, and I can't find the cause. I've already taken the gantry apart and painstakingly reassembled it, I don't know what's blocking me in the X chart. I have everything on reinforced idlers Rat Rig Heavy Duty Idler Pulley. Now I managed to achieve the best measurement
Are the belts tight? The frequency seems low. My peak is at 76Hz
For just the coreXY belts
My graph with hybrid:
Oh, but yours is 400,so the frequency should be lower, I guess
Please help, I'm struggling with this and can't find what's blocking me, everything seems fine but the graphs don't come out. Maybe it's because of the stronger IDLERs? I can't set the CoreXY belts. Everything has been disassembled and put back together meticulously. The belts are measured to 1 tooth and are the same. Here's the last graph
Lower belt is binding somewhere,, check all idlers and that run freely. Also check you have the shims in the right place
just to be sure, the bottom one is the one on the right?
I slightly pulled up the lower right band and this is the graph
now it turns out that the top one is weaker
Yes that’s the lower
You have a lot of noise on higher freq.. check your toolhead as well
You are using the ebb and not beacon right?
uff, I thought I didn't know which one was the lower lane
yes I use ebb, because I couldn't set it better on beacon, is it correct?
You should use ebb
Check toolhead to begin with. You have a lot of stuff coming from the toolhead
Check all cables are zip tied, all screws are tighten, no broken printed parts etc
I don't see anything loose or damaged, the cables are connected.
I pulled the top bar and everything broke 😦
now I'll try to go back to the last good one
then I should check all idlers and shims
follow the beltpath and check everything..
check that the belt is in the middle of the idlers and not climbing etc
around 80Hz I hear a resonance as if the belt was hitting the back of the frame against the profile
idlers are dirty from the belt, is that normal?
am I a little closer now?
Hello Any solution here ? 😊
Unfortunately no, I'm desperate and I don't know if I'm chasing unicorns, I'm starting to regret the purchase
This is what the latest graphs for CoreXY look like, without hybrid strips, unfortunately I failed, it's not perfect but I don't have the strength and time for it anymore
I don't know if that'll help but I had a problems with my belts as well.
What fixed it for me was to completely loosen the belts and move the gantry forward until it touches the front stoppers.
Then tighten up the belts just so it's touching the same on both rails.
Then do a first tune.
After every change to the belt tensioner home the printer before rerunning.
For me the movement helped to evenly distribute the load in the belts and I got a good graph
