Correct my bad.
After working yesterday doing to prints I shut down the printer. Today on starting the printer I get "Klipper has encountered an error Option "control" in section 'hearter-bed' nust be specified. on the touch screen of the printer. I can not connect to the printer as wifi is not working for some other reason. I tried via eth0 which i can ping but not connect to it. Will I have to reinstall?
sounds like the SD might be dying. I would get a new one and do a fresh install
ok Thanks
Just a question; can I use the printer cfg from the current setup or do I have to do a complete install and all the configs etc, like the beacon setup?
ratos 2.0.x = copy your printer.cfg and everything is back to normal
ratos 2.1.x = you will have to use the configurator to regenerate the ratos.cfg, but you should copy your printer.cfg
Copying the ratos.cfg wouldn't work then (seeing you said have to regenerate it) but does that mean I have to also re calibrate the beacon?
I don't have a beacon, but I would think so
Is there a way to retrieve my printer.cfg from the SD card that I had to change for a new install. That card was not working so I could not connect via network to download it.
It makes no sense to copy it since it's auto generated, is the point 🙂

That true but in my case some parts are not standard RatRig parts like my Z motors so I have to change the configuration slightly.
Doesn't matter, RatOS.cfg is overwritten by the configurator each time it's restarted, so everything in there is stuff the configurator supports
Put the same values in the hardware configurator and you get the same RatOS.cfg
