That is far clip plane
you can increase DH RD to move it further
but it will always happen at some point
I'm experiencing the same problem, couldn't this be considered a bug? Is it already reported?

The recommended fix is having fog enabled as that hides the cloud edges. DH clouds aren’t designed to be used without fog.
