GLB Exports are not including all brush types.
Reoccurring bug: Exported a sketch and parts of the sketch were missing with GLB, FBX is fine. It was a small file size and large mesh export was not activated.

GLB was imported in blender. Python errors come up but don't stay up long enough to copy the errors to you.
Please DM me an example .tilt file
Any tilt file will do. The same thing applies to all of them. Not specific to my sketches any of the ones Ive sent over to you in the past will trigger it.
same thing happened with the snowman way back. Exact same thing is happening
Sounds like you're saying certain brushes are omitted? Which ones?
tapered hue shift was missing on the last/experimentals
And can you DM me your open brush config?
yes
I just drew a stroke with the Lofted Hue Shift brush, exported it and opened it in Blender and it seemed fine. If you can give me sufficient info to reproduce this then I'll take another look.
I think grouping triggers it
should be tapered..., not lofted
I opened the file you sent and exported it in both the beta and the main release.
In both the behaviour seems to be the same:
1. Blender shows an error and imports nothing
2. The Unity Toolkit/SDK seems to load it fine.
So from what I can tell - this fails in Blender but it's not specific to the beta. Does that match your findings?
Yes. But when I opened it in blender, part of the model was there, parts were omitted. Again I think it has to do with groups. Didn’t try unity. Getting python errors in Blender as well
Glb had brush strokes omitted, fbx showed everything as expected
I did not try the original version, just beta
Odd that I'm seeing a different output in Blender to you. Can you DM me your glb for this?
OK. In Blender 4.2 something changed. I got the error but then it still loaded. If I quit Blender I retry I no longer get the error. 😕
The file looks fine to me. Can you tell me what to look for? What parts are missing?
The number of pieces specifically the earrings and rings
The grouping doesn’t come through on import.
FBX may have an issue too.... GLB is the first pic, FBX is the second.
original
Im using Blender 4.1
I'm still trying to investigate the first file you sent. Unless you think I should switch to checking this one instead?
i.e. is it worth it trying to get to the bottom of things with that other file?
Did I send a file that was different? Swore I sent you this one. ok just sent.
