Cannot connect to Klipper

Total new install. Updated all packages. Connects to Moonraker but cannot connect to Klipper.
Solution:
I unplugged the Beacon. Replaced the USB from RPi to Board. Now running config. It reflashed the board and this time the recheck worked.

Im sorry but what files and logs do you want to see?
blacksmithforlife
the klippy.log is good
mcu 'mcu': Unable to open serial port: [Errno 2] could not open port /dev/RatOS/btt-octopus-11: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/dev/RatOS/btt-octopus-11'
did you flash your octopus using the configurator?

It took several minutes for the configurator to check the board. Then it said it was the wrong version, flashing. That took several more minutes. After flashing it returned to checking version. That never stopped checking.
