mfad micro influencing

SFC is just a really good menswear brand that does a mix of stock, limited stock, and MTO clothes based in London based mostly on vintage American tailoring. Scott's sense of what to copy is really good and the clothes are nice, with lots of variety in fabrics.
Just uh, don't make the mistake I saw some fashion influencer make and buy their pants and use your vanity size instead of actually measuring
Is this just a brand? The way people talk about it make it seem different for some reason
Styling looks nice
yea it’s a small brand that has a large representation on this server
just a brand yup
I’m gonna be microinfluenced and buy a suit
Snake belt makes me go absolutely feral I want it so bad
ya, that snake belt is surprisingly not expensive wondering if there is any reason not to just yolo buy
Mostly shipping lol
If I'm already paying the price of the belt for shipping anyways I may as well get a shirt too and I don't have that kind of yoloing money
(also I can't tell if I actually like that the stripes on the movie dupe knits don't actually go around the back, I've been waffling on it)
Love SFC! Scott has a very good PoV and a very distinct and unique take on tailoring that still appeals to folks into more traditional tailoring. The fabrics are incredible and Scott puts in a lot of work to find old fabrics that he releases in the Boccia collection.
The knits are also great, doing reproductions of iconic knits from film as well as from just old shirts he finds on his journeys.
If you're in LA or NYC best to visit one of his pop-ups. Shipping to the US is hefty and has been the only thing keeping me from owning the tank tops or shirts he sells.
I think the main thing keeping me from buying their stuff is how outrageously expensive importing stuff from the UK to EU is. You pay laike 35% extra in duties and taxes compared to us prices and the shipping is not significantly cheaper
I was hoping to get some stuff in person last week, but they were in the US 😂
Also if I spend that much on clothing im not sure I would trust my own measurements and would prefer to buy things in store/have it measured by them in person
Love the brand, getting their stuff is really inconvenient though, which has prevented me from buying it yet
propably will cop eventually
their pants are great!
And i like their matching "suits"
Unfortunately they don’t offer stock at the pop-ups, you still order directly from London w/shipping
i don't know what kind of wizardry they have but on paper their clothes are either aggressively old-fashioned, douchey, or both and yet they're none of the above, instead just a series of well-made, interesting clothes
amingst other things people have already shouted out (the jellyfish shirt, their tank tops, the snake belt) their knit tees are so cool https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1116800072093532191/1227314889836593266
Their photography looks cool and makes me want to buy it, but I know if I did I'd probably look like I'm cosplaying West Side Story.
Just don’t be inexplicably covered in grime and you’ll be fine
their pants are really cool, I want them to restock fabrics!
I wonder if this makes for its own totd
Like a all encompassing mfad meta (not necessarily the word I want) for niche brands that are popular within the server
e.g. black fiscus and clandestine labs
:xd:
is 35k sales a niche brand?
Necroing this thread - is SFC ever doing sales? Just bc i might have by now a list of items i want to get from them...
The ace pride colored knit tee kinda pushed me over the edge
Not really
I don't think I've ever really seen a sale from them.
Only sales I’ve seen are like “buy this shirt get a pack of tanks”
Okay. In that case there is really no reason to wait for their stuff to go on sale.
