Brand new and having klipper errors. I have attached the printerconfig.
I am using a ebb42 toolboard and for some reason get a heat error. It seems as though the firmware wants to pull thermistor temp from MCU and not toolboard.

add this to the USER OVERRIDES section temporarily while you are debugging
Do you have the rapido that has the PT1000?
I have the standard rapido. It's the 2 wire. I added that into the printer config and now It does boot up. Now it looks like the 4010 part cooling fan will only run at 100% and also the heated bed thermistor doesn't register.
Ok I fixed the bed thermistor….. had it in the wrong spot!!!!! Dumb!!!!
Now I can’t seem to get the dump parts fan to shut off from 100%
the 4010 is for the hotend cooling. Or did you mean the 4028?
Oh yes I’m sorry the 4028.
I have three wires connected like the diagram shows but there is no way to adjust the fan speed.
4028 fans if the tach wire isn't connected will by default run at 100%
so double check your connections are good (no bad crimps or slightly out of the JST connector, or broken wire, etc)
Well shit!!!!! That explains that one! I only have the three wires connected!
sorry, not tach (i'm tired, it has been a long day for me)
the PWM wire
double check you have the right wires connected too and you didn't attach the tach when you meant to use the PWM
So I’ve got it wired like this. The fan I have is the protechnic and it says blue is pwm. Hey I just appreciate the help so much. I’m brand new to this. I have one more issue after this fan thing and then it’s at least to a point where I can calibrate!
I have the PT1000 I when connecting it to the EBB42 like in the guide I had a temperature of 129° I put in overides sensor_type : PT1000 but it gave me errors. I was able to get the MAX31865 working. What versione of the EBB42 do you have?
“Version 1.2
With the MAX31865?
Yes that is correct
I can’t get the x endstop to work either 🚬
Did you get it working?
Tomorrow morning I'll send you my setup.
Ok that is great!
Now my bed temperature readings are the same as the heater.
So I added the fan configuration to the very bottom under the user section and for some reason that worked! Fan now controllable!!!! Endstop works now too after putting new end on wires. I’m guessing one pin was touching the other.
add this in overrides [extruder]
heater_pin: toolboard:PB13
sensor_type: MAX31865
sensor_pin: toolboard:PA4
spi_bus: spi1
also che your dipswiitchs are ON ON OFF ON Two lines PT1000
