LDO Super Power underperforming

Hello, i recently swapped my A/B motors (42sth48-2504ac) with the ldo super power (42STH48-2804AC) and i saw worse performance in terms of acceleration. My current setup is: - Vcore 3.1 200 - Octopus pro - Tmc 5160 pro running at 48v on a/b motors - Tmc 2209 on Z axis and extruder Before the swap i could reach 32500 mm/s² at 1000mm/s but now my max acc is around 27000mm/s² at 1000mm/s The old motors were running at 1.7A, the new one are running at 1.9A I don't know why they're underperforming so much, i think it's a firmware related issue but other than the "run_current" parameter i don't know what i need to modify because I'm using the same old stock ratos profile with the new motors. Thx for any advice

Hi. I see you have a similar configuration to mine but I can't for the life of me get this tmc5160 pro to work, so my question is whether you can share your configuration.

I just followed the ratos guide and commented out the 2209 lines. You need to change the jumpers on your board from uart to spi on your A/B drivers https://os.ratrig.com/docs/configuration/advanced-stepper-configuration/
Advanced Stepper Configuration | RatOS
RatOS V1.1 introduced modularized stepper and driver configuration, this can be used for more fine grained control of your steppers. In your printer.cfg you might have noticed a section like this:

You need to add the config for the 5160 too From what I read they have better torque at higher speed, but are not that great on acceleration to get to that speed. I run 4 of these on my AWD at 2. Mind you 5160T still at 24V

I wonder if it is safe to run them at 2.1/2.2 A 🤔 I always thought you couldn't go at 80/90% with current because the driver wouldn't last long. I tried going at 2.6 and oh boy it's fast af. I feel very dumb right now.. 39K at 1000mm/s btw Ahah thanks 😄
