New Printer First Layer Under Extrusion?
Just setup a new VCore 3.1 running RatOS, Orbitor 2.0, Revo Micro (with 0.6 nozzle), OrcaSlicer and getting what looks to me like under extrusion. This is my first Klipper based system, and while it was great to be able to pull in the pre canned configs for most of my parts, it feels odd to me that I didn't have to do things like tune extrusion steps or extrusion length like I'm used haha.
I played with the "Fine tune" menu taking extrusion up to +106% but didn't see any improvement, I then backed off the Z offset which also didnt show improvement (that's where the print started to fail). This is my first printer using PEI so I'm a bit scared to push the offset lower given the paper test during PROBE_CALIBRATE felt pretty good. Any ideas, what nobs should I be turning in Klipper?

Id try to adjust/calibrate your extruder as it seems that you have the right amount of "squish" in your layers. Maybe you have your flow rate modified in your slicer.
Yea that is a good idea. I had updated the flow ratio from .94 to 1.0 prior to this test and even and bumped the volumetric flow up to 18 for PETG according to https://e3d-online.com/pages/revo-nozzle-maximum-flow-rates. I was hesitant to push the flow ratio up too much figuring it might cause problems after the first layer but I will give that a shot.
Doesn't look like there's anything wrong with your print settings. To keep your variables down keep your slicer settings and adjust flow rate to compensate for that underextrusion. Won't hurt to experiment with some values in ratos.
Cause to me this looks like an under extrusion problem 100%
The paper test can be misleading if you have any residue in the nozzle... Did you do the paper test cold or hot? To me looks way too far from the bed... Unload filament, heat nozzle to 200, brush it clean, then do the paper test again and see what happens
