Stepper Motor Direction?

Hello there. I am looking for some help on my X and Y axis of my V-Core 3.1. Here is a video of what is happening when I try to home. I just finished building the printer, so this is right after I turned it on for the first time. I asked on the Facebook group and they suggested my wiring for the XY stepper motors might be backwards. I have checked the wiring with the RatRig guide and it is correct. I have also gone through belt tensioning and X-Gantry alignment a ton. With this, someone suggested one of the stepper motors may be moving in the wrong direction. How can I tell this and how can I fix this in RatOS? Thank you for all suggestions and taking the time to read this.

your gantry isn't square or something is binding causing it to move in Y when it should only be moving in X when it homes X, it goes until the limit switch is tripped and then it moves back to the middle of the plate

What steps do you recommend I take? I have gone through the instructions on x-gantry a couple times and made sure it is flush with the printed part that holds in the linear rail. I also don’t get much resistance when moving it by hand.

* check if your belt is binding * check your pully is firmly attached to both steppers and not slipping * check that your belt tension is equal * check that the X gantry is attached to the Y rails at 90 degrees yeah, it shouldn't move like that when you push/pull in Y CoreXY uses a single motor to move diagonal, so looks like one of the steppers is binding also, unless you want to fry your board, don't do moves like that without unplugging the steppers. Running them by hand generates electricity

It looks like one of them does not move. How would I unbind it?

I am not there, you will have to investigate
