MH Build Series PLA Has Horrible Stringing

This is more of a "tuning filament" question I suppose. I typically print with PETG and have little to no issues with it stringing. I wanted to have some PLA around and I bought some MatterHacker Build Series. It prints absolutely stunningly on smooth faces but any time there are gaps or jumps it strings to the point that it's basically unusable. The retraction tower shown was printed at 200C and is 15mm tall at 0.1mm retract steps (so ranged from 0mm to 1.5mm retraction). At this point I can only assume it's temperature? But the 190C print wouldn't even stick to the bed. Any thoughts or suggestions for reigning in this filament is appreciated.

I use MH PLA a lot and I like it. I also recently had stringing problems and tried much the same changes as you. When I replaced the nozzle to a new one, all the stringing problems went away. Something to try...
