2Prints dont Fit together
So im Printing two base plates they are litreally the same size in the cad software and slicer. Every hole aligns with each other, but Printed they dont fit only the top four holes align with each other. The lower plate does not fit with the topplate. If i flip the lower plate 180degrees then the holes fit. I dont know if im giong mad because ive been awake for 24hours but what is going on ?

Top four screws fit bottom4 dont
if I flip the lower plate 180 degrees all screws fit
Have you done skew calibration?
And did you measure and verify that the holes are actually the size you made in cad? Without inner hole compensation holes typically come out smaller than your cad
i made the holes all 4.3mm and they came out 4mm which i expected as that was what i tested before, but i havent made a skew calibration yet ill look into that thanks. its just confusing because all 3 parts use the same holes but only 2 out of 3 fit together
Hard to do with this print, but measuring what you cad vs what actually comes out of the printer is needed. Could be skew, could be where the line started and that creates more tension internally, etc.
ok yeah, what confuses me is that all holes align when i flip the print 180degrees and that its only that print the white print is pretty ,uch the same and it doesnt have that issue
@blacksmithforlife i printed it and this is what i measured a/c 141.99
b/d 141.19
a/d 95.26
I didn't use the klipper skew print, I used the califlower from vector3d. Sorry, can't help you since I have no idea what those measurements are supposed to be
well i guess im gonna print the califlower
I don't think he has it for sale anymore. Instead he has the calilaturn
will look into that thanks
just got some updates in the update manager maybe that magically fiixes it
not sure why but my skew profile sint saving. it says this skew_correction: Load failed, unknown profile [] but ill try it again(i followed the klipper documentation and uncommented it in the macro config)
@blacksmithforlife haven't got the Skew calibration to work yet, but when I turn the print 90degrees to the right all 3 prints align now. what could that be ? I'll probably run a Resonance test tomorrow maybe there is something loose
X and Y skew is off.
@pteglerok ill try to setup the Skew Correction. its at the bottom of my printer.cfg but it doesnt say anything about it being activated
do you think the klipper one is good enough
Gotta read the klipper documentation
did that, but still nothing happens or atleast I don't think something is happening I even followed tutorial
