Heater extruder not heating at expected rate
I get random crashes on this printer (V-core 3 - Octopus - Copperhead
I've checked the wiring, reinstalled Ratos fully.
I've spent hours and days on it. No success.
What do you have to look for in klippy logfile (attached ) ?
Many thanks in advance for the help 🙂

Have you done a pid tuning? Have you checked the wiring of your thermistor to make sure it doesn't have connectivity issues in certain spots (i.e. a break in the wire that only shows up in certain spots).
I have also personally seen issues with the MAX chip for PT1000 thermistors, so if you are using that switch to just the normal thermistor port
I've checked the PID's at the exact printing temps, but starting to have a doubt indeed on the thermistor : the temp can not possibly drop that fast. Even though the heater does work fine sometimes for hours. I'm gonna recrimp new connectors. I even reinstalled a full RatoS 2.0.1 just to be certain.
Interesting your comment on the PT1000 : I use the original from Slice.
I've replaced one on another Rat recently, similar symptoms. Can you expand on "switch to just the normal port ?
Also tried lowering part cooling fan.
Don't connect it to the max31865 port. Instead connect to a plain thermistor port
i.e. connect to the thermistor port that the Rat-OS wiring diagram shows
Oh ... right, It is in the official Ratos slot, as per the diagram
max31865 : I don't know this guy 🤣
Ok : just replaced the PT1000 with an Slice Engeneering original, 500°C.
Thermal paste, PID and : random bug again...
What is "random bug again"?
Heater out of range crash
Never happens on the first layer
Fans on the safe side :
Eva 2.4 with 7530
Could this explain the drop :
Just realised it happens with prints having overhangs or support
Turns out Cooling fan Kickstart Duration was at 1 sec : too much with 7530 and Supersniffle's trihorn.
