Y axis moves forwards and back when X moves left to right (Vcore 3.1 500mm)
When my toolhead is moving left and right in big moves I can see visible shaking of the Y axis. It moves about 1mm forward and back about 5 times during each side to side movement.
No idea how to troubleshoot and until then I have a $1600 paperweight I can't even fit out my door.

You have binding in your XY motion system. Check belts, bearings, pulleys, etc.

Rebuilding my motor cages with new prints. Hopefully I find an issue I can solve.
I rebuilt my motor cages and didn't see anything outstanding. The issue persists and I've been over the belt path with a fine tooth comb.
With my belts off my gantry moved very smoothly. I don't feel or see any racking.

It helps in that I see others with the same issue, but there doesn't seem to be any known solution. If I can't solve it I have to sell the printer.
