Another belt resonance/tension question
Hi everyone.
I have moved past my earlier bed mesh issues and have now got a bed in a reasonable range (I think).
I have watched the youtube video on the resonances and have got mine close to 75Hz, but the upper and lower belt graphs are not close in amplitude.
My question is - is this graph OK or do I need to do something in order to equalise the two chart lines?
Thanks in advance

I would give the lower belt a full turn and test again.
Here it is again after loosening the lower belt one turn (or should I have tightened it?)
I'm sorry I wasn't clear when i said a full turn I kinda assumed it was obvious. My bad. So yeah, I meant tighten the lower belt a full turn. If you gave it a full turn to loosen it, give it 2 turns the other way now.
Thanks for the clarification. I have done some adjustments today and here is how it looks now. Still not real sure what I'm supposed to be looking for to improve things
Well basically, you need to get the blue and orange spikes aligned, without over tightening the belts. Here's an example from my printer. So in your case, I would tighten the blue one (lower belt) some more to get it up to the orange one. However, since the belts are both attached to the printhead, orange will get tighter as well so after tightening lower, do a test and see if orange gets too high. Loosen orange if it does and tighten blue some more. Don't overdo things, once they start getting closer go by half a twist adjustments - or at least thats how I go about it anyways. There might be better ways Im not aware of.
Thanks a lot for your help. I think I am at a stage to move on now (hopefully). Is it OK now?
yeh looks good to me!
If you're up for it, you could try and get the belt tension a bit more aligned. Give lower a quarter to half a twist to tighten it and check it again
