updating from v1.2.4-1 to ratos 2.0
hi im planning on updating to ratos 2.0. i got some questions. after i flash the sd card. can i just plug in the sd card to the pi and continue, or do i have to disconnect all wires on the btt?
in the guide it says "It is heavily recommended that you flash your board and make sure it is detected in the configurator before you plug in your stepper drivers and start connecting your wiring."
and also, do i have to do anything after all is done? ive saved my printer.cfg, can i just paste it in and go? and a while back i saw someting that the bed_mesh is not going to work. i have not updated klipper after i got that message, but im planning on doing it after i get ratos 2.0 going. what do i need to do with that?

It is heavily recommended that you flash your board and make sure it is detected in the configurator before you plug in your stepper drivers and start connecting your wiringyou have already done this if you have a working 1.2 system
and also, do i have to do anything after all is doneyes the template for 2.x completely changed and is NOT compatible with the old one. So start with a fresh new printer.cfg and then just fill it in using the values from your old printer.cfg. If you copy and paste the whole thing you will cause yourself issues
what do i need to do with that?nothing, bed mesh works just fine
@blacksmithforlifethank you so much for a well explained answer to someone who is reading chinese atm lol. ill give it a try and get back when i have fried everything 😆
If you want, just burn 2.x to your SD card, go through all the steps as normal (read the updated ratos documentation!) and then when it is time to change the printer.cfg then look back at your old one. If you do it this way you will have far less to try and keep in your head of what is already done and what isn't
https://os.ratrig.com/docs/installation/ this is the right one i guess
