Dual Peaks on Y-Axis Input Shaper

Hey all. Sort of a side thing from another issue I'm having with massive layer shifts. I was suggested to run the input shaper and apparently the y-axis has dual peaks close to each other. Not sure what the issue there is. The belt tensions are about perfect as far as I can tell but if this is the reason I'm getting these layer shifts I'd love to know why.

1e3 range on y graph suggests that the adxl isn't reading any movement... Compare that to the 1e4 range on your x plot - order of magnitude higher than y

Yeah I see what you mean. What's the issue there?

Honestly not sure... I've never seen this situation where you get one good reading and the other axis seemingly broken Maybe others have a better idea... Does the gantry move pretty freely in y when the motors are off? If you disconnect the belts, does it move easily or does it feel like it's binding somewhere?

Well glad you brought that up cuz I am hearing a rattling sound in the lower belt pully/motor area and it's snagging some. I'll take it apart and report back.

Well, I opened the sticking motor mount and cleaned and reassembled it. These are the charts after I did some tension work. Calibration cube printed without shifting. Despite the need for some resonance compensation it came out well. Thank you!

If anything the belts might be a little too loose now, haha. But I'll keep tuning.

Sounds good... Y still looks odd but best to tune for good prints than good graphs...
