Burning hotend - Rapido
HELP. I've gone completely dumb.
at first I have a symptom that the rapido does not heat up above 220C degrees and now I have the impression that it is heated to the max, i.e. up to 350C because the filament is on fire.
it is connected to the EBB36 can bus and the thermistor is PT1000 ( two lines)
How to check whether the thermistor gives true values??
here is my config

get it off the MAX chip...not needed and as many have stated here..nothing but issues with the max. The Pt1000 does not need it to begin with.
Hay i am not the only one burning things tonight.
I smoked (charred) the interior of a Rapido soak once. Left it on, uncontrolled...thought the wife had turned the heat on for the first time of the season...that ho dust smell. Turned around to look at the printer and it was like 4-5 cigarettes in an ashtray worth of smoke coming out of the hot end. Amazingly it did not melt my EVA carriage. The inner 2mm or so were gone. burnt toast crispy.
I just barely touched the sock and it fell off the hot end. No other damage amazingly. So had to be well over 450C to toast it like that. That same Rapido has since had well over 400hrs of printing without issue.
this is how to connect it, omitting MAX - as in the configuration it writes something other than max31865, it does not read the temperature
i' tested today the hotend - selected 205Cand hotend go to 276 C
new theater, new termistor still wrong readings set 200C got 305
Problem solved - I replaced the EBB36 board without the damn MAX31865 chip - everything works as it should
