Euclid Probe Deployment Error
Fresh update to 2.0 RatOS.
When attempting to Home All, X & Y home successfully, the head moves over and grabs the Euclid, moves out of the dock, and I get this error:
Shutdown due to expected probe state to be deployed but is stowed (1) Once the underlying issue is corrected, use the "FIRMWARE_RESTART" command to reset the firmware, reload the config, and restart the host software. Printer is shutdownI've tried commenting/uncommenting all the different ones in the probe section without success (the top one was default).

Solved it, my probe is hooked into PA1.
Added this and it solved it:
Is there a way to slow down the deploy/stow Euclid Macros?
Mine skips steps with the factory performace settings enabled.
Itβs skipping steps because your carriage is getting caught on something or your position_min/max are wrong. Not because of the speed.
You should fix the physical problems. Slowing down the macro speed is a good way of debugging though.
Hmm...It works great at 150, I used "variable_macro_travel_speed: 150" to get it to work.
you have some pretty bad mechanical issues if you can't do 300 mm/s at stock accels.
Could a frame being out of square be the issue?
Belts too tight, rails not aligned etc
yes
oh boy
Yeah you have some adjustments to do π
i think you're missing a z-tilt though
I'm 99% sure that had a Z tilt done
it doesn't look that way
Checking it again now
That's with the bed and hotend heated up
looks like you have some severe z problems too
Double check that your couplers are properly tightened. They need to be cranked down pretty hard.
(the ones connecting your motor shafts to the lead screws)
I think you need to take some time and go over your build
@miklschmidt I will check that. It seems that with the update to 2.0 the probing is a lot faster with Z almost hitting the bed hard at each point
No nothing changed about that, you'd have to manually change the z_speed and the probe speed for that to change.

You may not be used to euclid probe speeds though, if you were using something else before
you can slow it down if you prefer
I've been using the Euclid for a while, did the probe points decrease? It could be 100% that I don't remember correctly
The steps skipping only happens around that lower left corner (0,0) for some reason. Moving and printing everywhere else at high speeds seems to work fine
No
You say you've been using euclid for a while, but it hasn't been supported in RatOS before 2.0
Correct, I had some custom configs for it
It's mechanical
Which now that I say it out loud means I had it running differently before haha
Yes so obviously you can't really compare
yes π
I just need you to read my mind, is that too much to ask?
haha
@miklschmidt I'll square the frame up real good and post back here. Thanks for being here during my musings π
