I wish 😭 unfortunately that's not changeable, bear in mind the screenshots are after several iterations so I've weeded out the easy wins.
18px base font size as Source Sans is very small at 16px

damn, I thought I read the spec on definition lists but apparenlty I didn't that makes the problem so much easier 😄 thanks

Thanks for the reply @Jochem much appreciated, yeah this is where I'm struggling, usually I'd just wrap with a div to make my life easier but I'm trying to make hte HTML as semantic as possible 👍

Grid-Layout Background lines
Looks like he just has an absolute grid positioned in the background, you can target it in dev tools with
