If I replace the old tube piece that was in the center of the 2 wall holes and then try reconnecting things it works fine.

Rolled that back to last version which was 1.0.19 I believe and it's weird. I can place color hypertube on some wall holes and not on others

They do not. And yet it does show in game that is syncing. And I'm signed into only steam as I'm signed in via steam

I did this and it fixed it
If reinstalling the game takes too long for you, a quicker fix is to delete the
<game install dir>\Engine\Binaries\Win64\FactoryGame-Win64-Shipping.version file, though this is not meant to be a permanent solution, as having the game installed twice in the same directory can cause issues later.

Because Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML) "3.8.0" depends on Satisfactory (FactoryGame) ">=365306" and Satisfactory CL273254 is installed, Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML) "3.8.0" is forbidden. So, because installing Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML) "3.8.0", version solving failed.
