But if you have the same problem then try using a different dns and set "RiotClientServices" priority to high in task manager > details

Maybe your friend uses lan and you don't, or maybe it's a difference in the dns server. If you want the best dns server for you, you should use dns benchmark. But usually cloudflares dns server is good enough (1.1.1.1 main 1.0.0.1 alternate)
