how can i connect my hosting provider to my cloudflare domain bec i cannot access that on cloudflare do i need something special

hey just bough a new domain and my question is can i use a hosting provider and still use the domain if it is registered by cloudflare i know it works but i just tried 2 other hostings they allways ask for an auth code to take the domain but why i dont get it im super new im just a graphic designer yet i understand the system but it should work right... can someone help me thanks
