im using bools for walking and idle, so when the enemy is walking the walking bool is true and the idle is false, but it either keeps playing the animation or just stops entirely

i havent, but basically for my traps that i use , the code is in the trap, not the player, as i want variable damage amounts, so when i try to disable the character controller, it cant because its not able to get it. https://paste.mod.gg/mmvbehcbhszx/0

Trap problems with character controller

im thinking of doing it in reverse, or calling the code on the player and instead of ontriggerEnter "player" OnTriggerEnter "trap" or something, if that makes sense
