Claiming spots for specific time/duration
Hi there, first of all I really like your project NabBot, it really improves play on my server.
As a player with limited playing time per day I came with some suggestion for improvement in the claim system. That'd be either claiming spot for given time, for example: from 2:00 to 4:00pm etc. This way people don't have to bother waiting/checking if you're next, messaging people, bothering them, asking if they gonna hunt full claim or just 30 min etc etc and can plan their day more efficiently. This system can be seen on many other European servers and it works very nicely.
For concerns that someone wouldn't show up I have a suggestion to implement kind of a check-in system like in flights: Nabbot would message you an hour before your turn to accept your claim. If you won't accept it until 30 min before your turn, your claim would disappear and someone could take over your slot.
If that does not work for you, at least would be good to give us an extension of claims where you can claim spot for given duration: for example 30 min, 1h etc. This way you at least can assume when +/- is your turn without interrupting people that hunt or will hunt before you. Many people don't hunt their full claims, leave early, then it is your turn, you are not prepared to take it and have to wait sometimes several hours for your next turn.
Many could say meh just go somewhere else, but for someone who actually likes the spot and holds preys for it etc it's really a big deal, especially on very populated servers and best or boosted spots.
Can't wait to see what you think about it. I think many will agree that either solution would be very helpful.
