in terms of the weekly challenges, everyones are resetting and have been for months. that issue isnt caused by your username change. as far as the username goes im not sure theres a fix but maybe someone else will know one

Unable to join SFW Asia server
the high ping on sfw is due to weird routing, a vpn/tunneling software should fix it but due to the declining playerbase youll likely only be able to play reasonable games on the us servers

It's happening for everyone, it's a known bug. Devs can't fix it until they release the big update if they even end up figuring out how to fix it
