I think it's DNS, its usually DNS...525 handshake error
TLDR; version - cloudflare nameservers give handshake error. Account is lost. how do we set the dns record?
Long version.
So, my my sister have a blog wand I help her from time to time. She have hired help to create the page, do updates etc. People finish and move on.
A few years back cloud flare was used to stave off attacks but have since then been turned off. The cloudflare account was connected to a MFA app but the guy that handled it cannot remember it. There are no recovery codes.
A while back we started getting a 525 ssl handshake error, page cannot be reached and the domain can no longer be managed from her web hosting provider. The DNS record points to cloudflare but nobody have access to the account that was used.
I've registered a new cloudflare account to try and register her website to it. But to get that done I need to update the nameserver to do that. Which is what I need to do on the web server provider aswell.
So, am I correct assuming it's DNS settings in a orphaned CloudFlare account? And is there a way to fix it?
