Bot staying online when code isnβt running
In Discord.py, when I stop the code from running the bot account instantly goes offline. Why does it take a few minutes for Discord.js to do the same?

messageCreate isn't firing when bot receives a DM
The bot used to respond to commands, even if the channel was a DM. Now it doesn't even fire the messageCreate event. Does anybody know how to fix this?
