Wifi network found, but cant connect to internet
It works now! I don't know what went wrong but I deleted all wifi networks from its memory, hit the reset button, rebooted the router again and it just worked. Thanks for the help, at the very least I learned a lot about IP, DNS, DHCP, etc!

Wifi network found, but cant connect to internet
Still no good. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it. I'll have to come back to this tomorrow.
If someone would be able to make a quick screen shot of what the wifi settings look like when set to a static IP, that would be most appreciated.
Also, does it matter what I do with IPv6? Or does it just fall back on IPv4 when IPv6 fails? Haven't touched it yet.

Wifi network found, but cant connect to internet
Well I know what DNS windows is set to, I can easily find that in network settings - wifi. Can't find the gateway there yet, looking.

Wifi network found, but cant connect to internet
Plopped that in there, not there yet.
So I have adress at 192.168.1.158, netmask at 255.255.255.0, gateway at 192.168.86.2.
IPv6 I haven't touched. All I could find was a "Link-local IPv6-adres that is too long to put in as an adress.
Should the MAC adress go somewhere?

Wifi network found, but cant connect to internet
Much thanks to everyone helping me along.
I've been at this for a while now but I have to admit that doing something as seemingly simple as assigning a static IP address is, apparently, a bit over my head. The documentation that I find about Linux doesn't seem to cover Bazzite very well.
So, to check what I should do...
In the connection configuration, in the tab IPv4, I set method to manual. I set DNS servers to the DNS server my windows boot uses (which is different from my ISP DNS server, just in case). I leave search domain blanc. Then I click add and type in the IP address that windows boot was using. Netmask is filled in automaticly; couldn't find that on the windows boot. Gateway I leave empty, couldnt find that info in the windows boot either.
Obviously this doesn't work, though it's not obvious to me? What am I doing wrong?

Wifi network found, but cant connect to internet
Alright, will try that. It's not something I do often. So I get the IP-adress, subnetmask, standard gateway and DNS and plug that into the Legion Go via the terminal in bazzite?

Wifi network found, but cant connect to internet
One thing I didn't mention is that on startup, it will once give the message 'Limited connectivity. This device appears to be connected to a network but is unable to reach the internet.'
I doubt it's connected to a network though. I doesn't say it is and pinging google doesn't go anywhere.

Did not resolve it I'm afraid. If it's DHCP, it's not affecting the windows boot.

I am dual booting. Full restarting as in using the shut down option, yes. Left it off for a few minutes before switching it back on.
