Internal address is used for homarr to do pings and connect integrations.

You should only need to edit the external links though.
No matter where you are accessing from, homarr can still connect from the IP address

No problem!
Inside the homarr/configs folder is all of the .JSON files, these are your boards.
Copy a file, rename it, restart homarr, and you're done.
Depending on your setup it might be easiest to find/replace inside the .json file, or you can just edit this new board through homarr.

I have a similar usecase. As a suggestion:
1. Clone the board.
2. Set one board to all VPN hostname links, set the other to all IP address links.
3. Keep local IP machines logged into a user with the IP board as default.
4. Keep external machines logged into a user with the VPN board as default.
I have my cookies set on my cellphone, so when I access Homarr from IP I get my IP user, and when I access from my domain name, I get domain links.

Torrent widget
Qbit will also lock you out for an hour if you input the wrong credentials too many times. You can restart qBit to clear the ban list.
90% of the time CONREFUSED is wrong credentials or CSRF. Double check you credentials in the JSON.
