Well this is what I have in place right now, but unfortunately, the options still arent rendering in the dropdown; they show up as undefinied.
Per actor-sheet.html:

id="hogwarts-house"
name="system.attributes.hogwartsHouse.value"
>
{{selectOptions hogwartsHouseOptions selected=hogwartsHouse}}
</select>
But this is how it renders in Foundry during testing:

How to Create & Save Custom Field Values from a Dropdown on Actor sheet?
There doesn't seem to be a selectOptions() helper in the boilerplate, which is why I added my own. I made this adjustment, but its still throwing errors. Do you have a copy of the selectOptions() function you're referring to?

Trying to register a new system
@Forien Success! Instead of restarting just the application, tried one last hail mary and reset my whole computer. Upon launch Foundry this time, the new system was in there! Thank you for your assistance with troubleshooting. I was going a lil crazy for a sec lol

Yeah, its where my D&D 5e system lives that does show up in the application so I'm unsure as well. I also did several resets hoping that was all that was needed with nothing new happening.
Yeah, I know its weird. I do have quite a bit of experience in dev (my full time job), but I am totally stumped by this 😓

Full path to the project folder is "C:\Users\hello\AppData\Local\FoundryVTT\Data\systems\wandsandwizards"
