Black Screen Fresh Image - 7840u

Installed Bazzite with the Steamdeck like interface and after the install (from USB) it boots into a black screen. I see the login screen and the spinning icon then nothing. Just black. Have tried booting in with nothing attached, with a 1080p monitor only, etc. No change. Tried imaging with secure boot disabled, tried imaging with secure boot off, same behavior. I have a Minisforum UM790 Pro with a 7840HS, 64GB of RAM, and 8TB of solid state storage. I'm testing using both a 4K panel and a 1080p panel. What am I doing wrong? Can't figure it out. Checked all the other posts with "black" or "black screen" but no luck. Thanks!
