Black Screen Fresh Image - 7840u
Installed Bazzite with the Steamdeck like interface and after the install (from USB) it boots into a black screen. I see the login screen and the spinning icon then nothing. Just black. Have tried booting in with nothing attached, with a 1080p monitor only, etc. No change. Tried imaging with secure boot disabled, tried imaging with secure boot off, same behavior.
I have a Minisforum UM790 Pro with a 7840HS, 64GB of RAM, and 8TB of solid state storage. I'm testing using both a 4K panel and a 1080p panel. What am I doing wrong? Can't figure it out. Checked all the other posts with "black" or "black screen" but no luck. Thanks!

I have the same problem on gpd win 4 2023 but just for desktop mode
For me, I think it was a messed up installtion. I reinstalled with rufus DD mode enabled and now it works fine.
i get this at random on the legion go and i can hear the UI in the background if i move the controls, workaround is press the power button once to put it to sleep the press it again to wake it and the screen comes on again.
no idea what causes it since all we do is launch steam through gamescope (just like steamos)
do you have Decky recorder installed?
