tangential — there's also an odd error where it was asking me to update the git intergation by reinstallnig after I had authorized the repo on GitHub, but when I switched back to the original tab where I was creating the new project, the newly authorized repo appeared in the list ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I thought there might be a way to do it after-the-fact, but appears not — seems like it's as you said, you have to make the project first in the dashboard by explictly selecting the Git deployment option

If I deploy using the CLI, none of the options to associate that deployment with a GitHub repo appear in my dashboard — unless I'm totally missing something?
