create-cloudflare git integration

Is it possible to have the autoamted git integration with projects created using the create-cloudflare CLI? https://developers.cloudflare.com/pages/configuration/git-integration/ suggests going to Settings > Builds & deployments and clicking the Configure Production deployments, but this seems outdated compared to the existing Dash. Any ideas?

Hello, I’m Allie!
You can Create a new Project attached to the repo, if that is what you mean?

If I deploy using the CLI, none of the options to associate that deployment with a GitHub repo appear in my dashboard — unless I'm totally missing something?

Yeah, iirc you have to create a new project You can’t attach it to a repo after it is created

gocha yeah I thought there might be a way to do it after-the-fact, but appears not — seems like it's as you said, you have to make the project first in the dashboard by explictly selecting the Git deployment option

You can't convert a Direct Upload Project to a git based project later (nor detach/reconfigure attached git project), but you can wrangler pages deploy to a Git based project

tangential — there's also an odd error where it was asking me to update the git intergation by reinstallnig after I had authorized the repo on GitHub, but when I switched back to the original tab where I was creating the new project, the newly authorized repo appeared in the list ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
