Updated to 1.21.1 and now players keep their inventory after dying?
Just figured it out! I had to set multiverse keepInventory to false!! Sometimes, the easiest solutions are the correct ones!

UPDATE: It does not seem to be a plugin issue!
I removed all plugins except the essential ones (essentialsX, luckperms, multiverse, viaversion, whitelist) and the problem still persists.

I know that per world plugins sucks but I kinda rely on it to disable plugins in some of my worlds.

I noticed this a while ago, so it might have been fixed when I removed the awful illegalstack plugin. I’ll have to do further testing but it’s something I thought it would be worth asking anyway since maybe somebody might have an easy fix to insure it never happens again.

This plugin doesn’t require any commands, or items. you can just right click outside of your inventory or chest and it’ll sort.
