Every act the weekly exp thing resets and every week the exp you earn increases untill the act ends and weeklies stack so if you havent done them and your friend already did some of theirs that might be why

Super weird issue
When it is at 0 it generally means that the app is confirming everything is alright or something like that, wait a little bit and see if it finishes
