AMD 7900 XTX crash on boot
After booting the pinned image, I restarted the system and tried to load the 20240224 image and lo-and-behold its working. Really odd heisenbug that I'm fairly certain is something specific to my setup.
I have a feeling its related to a "You might be running a broken bios" message I've seen in a couple of the logs. I'll post the follow up kernel boot in the gist link above but mark this message as resolution pending any further ideas to check into aside from a bios update.

Nvidia drivers stop loading after any sort of system update
Interesting - i discovered this is the case with my bazzite-nvidia box as well 🤔 Its falling back and I have to
modprobe nvidia-drm to get the resoultion going. I'll follow up - but did just do an rpm-ostree update post the 9/16 pause (unlucky sync date) and will try to get the system back in alignment with this thread's help. 🙇♂️74 replies

:nod: I'm not sure if that's specific to me because i initially installed bazzite-deck and rebased to vanilla bazite, but let me run up to my wifes gaming pc (the nvidia-bazzite flavor) and see if she's got the same error in the log

when I didn't see a
.service file for the portal, i was already sus by the no entries message. I'm presently on my AMD rig looking into this from the latest nightly build of the bazzite image stream.

I'm looking around for this - I've checked systemctl and not finding an xdg-desktop-portal-kde or just xdg-desktop-portal 🤔 Its clearly installed based on the rpm
is there something else / somewhere else I should be looking?
