I plan on commuting, using public transit. Want them (ideally) for both work and general use - can always change into sneakers in the office when I get there. Won’t need to shovel snow as I’m selling my car before I move up. Idk if i’ll be walking through snow in them, maybe a native chicagoan can shed some light on if i’ll need to.
