Need help sizing tops
Measurements:
Height: 5’9 / 175 cm
Weight: 185lbs / 84 kg
I have been fat all my life until the past year or so when I made a conscious effort to lose weight. I used to be comfortable in an XL at 230, but now that I am 185 I am having a lot of wardrobe issues. My main issue is that I have tits. They aren’t big enough to be considered gynecomastic I don’t think (not quite into bitch tit territory) but they are noticeably larger than those of people who have similar builds to me. This is a major pain point in my wardrobe because they are a point of insecurity for me. Furthermore, I have a weirdly short torso. I think my legs are a bit longer than the average 5’9 guy’s, and this isn’t that big of a deal but it does make sizing tough.
I have found that I am pretty comfortable with the bagginess of large size t-shirts - they fit my tits well and do not draw attention to them while also being small enough to prevent me from looking like I am swimming in them. The problem is the length of the larges - they go down past my ass a lot of the time which visually makes me look shorter than I actually am. It’s just not a good look.
Medium shirts fit me very well length-wise, but they hold onto my tits - imagine a wet white tee look except it’s not on a woman, it’s on an obese man with a beard. Also not great.
The goal is to lose weight, but that is a process. In this interim before I do go on a cut, what kinds of tops should I be looking at to complement my short torso and larger-than-average-for-a-man tits? I have found that heavier clothes in a medium size - flannels, knitted tees, that sort of thing - work well, but they aren’t ideal because where I live is very hot. Are there any brands that yall know of that have addressed this issue with t-shirt sizing? Thanks!
