I noticed something else -- I'm trying to get the media player working but I'm having a hard time getting HA to not show it as 'unavailable'. When I try to perform a
reload on the HA device, it seems to fail and lock up the component.89 replies

yeah, when I hit "Send & Activate Sensors" nothing happens on the HA side. Then I just close the Satellite Service Configuration window and reopen it, navigate to the Sensors tab and the entry is gone.

I installed the 2.1.0 release from here: https://github.com/hass-agent/HASS.Agent/releases/tag/2.1.0 and after installing the agent and satellite service, I loaded the sattelite settings and tried to add the
cpuload and, sadly, it still doesn't show up in Home Assistant after hitting the "Send & Activate Sensors" button. 😕89 replies

Yeah, when I add it, it shows up in the window but doesn't appear in Home Assistant, if I just close the Satellite config window and reopen it, the entry is gone.

lol, after installing everything and then trying to add the cpuload, the problem persists and never makes it to Home Assistant. 😦

I uninstalled everything and was checking the directories and manually removing anything left and it wouldn't let me delete
C:\Program Files\HASS.Agent Satellite Service\Service\HASS.Agent.Satellite.Service because it was 'in-use' even though the service had been stopped and removed! Anyway, I restarted my computer and deleted it after that but I wonder if that could be causing some issues if the installation app isn't able to replace the file because it's in use.89 replies
