Non Slip Soles on Loafers
Recently purchased some sude loafers from Sid Mashburn. The soles are slippery. Much more so than any other pair I've purchased (Bass, Rancourt, Blackstock & Weber). I primarily pad around perfumed and on carpet, is it considered gauche to get my local cobbler to slap on some non-slip sole protector type pad sole covers on these mofos? At some point, I've got to prioritize not falling on my ass ahead of fashion, but its not an easy choice. Any general guidance for adding sole grips on loafers?
