Aerofly RC10 freezes on splash screen, then crashes.
I installed Manjaro with Plasma to see if it was some sort of Wayland/base OS problem, but the game is running on it no problem.

Rog Ally X WiFi strength indicator not full
The indicator typically shows the signal strength, not the speed. There's a good chance it's showing correctly, as you can get full speed even with a slightly reduced signal. What happens if you put the wifi AP closer to your computer?

Forcing proton results in the same type of crash (at the splash screen), but the crash happens faster.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. It's just curious that it worked fine on another non-gaming distro, and now it's giving me grief!

Aerofly RC10 freezes on splash screen, then crashes.
I had originally marked this as solved, but the problem happens more often than not, and I can't seem to find a consistent pattern.
I found these logs whic shed more light on the problem, but I still don't know what to do for a solution.
I'm hoping someone notices something obvious here. Thanks! Logs below...

I don't know what the problem was, but I did
rpm-ostree rollback, still had the problem, then did ujust upgrade to get back to the latet update, and the game started right up.16 replies

Thanks, I'll paste the logs below. It does fail, but I'm not familiar with any of the results. I'll try and google some of them unless you know off the top of your head.
