Should I switch jobs?
No one has to know about “window shopping”. You could look at it like you are assessing options just like anyone would. I mean you never know he might see something he actually likes and get a good offer which would make him switch. A job is not guaranteed to give you an offer after an interview so you’re not guaranteed to accept an offer after an interview. You could just politely say thank you for the interview it wasn’t a good fit for xyz. And the. Again you might get a really good offer which will make him change the his kind.

How to re-run a function in Server components on navigation to get fresh data?
Yeah I’m good to go with client components if needed which is why I’m asking for server. App directory also makes these components server by default so I’m working through their recommended workflow

I believe that documentation is for client components not server. NextJS now makes layout and page files server components by default and recommends keeping it that way which is why I’m inquiring on this. Since a lot of calls will need to be done in these main files
