Same thing for me until like last week when my friend finally had the same glitch and I realized it was a bigger issue than i thought

I think your looking at the wrong setting as your not supposed to turn it off for just valorant

Yeah you go to settings, display, graphics, change default graphic settings, and than turn it off.

I just spammed tabbing out and played for 2 hours while checking other apps non stop and couldn't get it to freeze

if you do run into the issue again i would recommend turning off that setting as its seem to have worked for me for now
