Adding a filter to a widget that is on a view page

I'm trying to filter my stats widgets on a view resource page but I cannot seem to make it work. Is there any tutorial or easy of doing this since I know you can do it on a list resource page.

Filter on view page possible?

I know there is a way to add widgets to the view page through livewire but I don't see a way to add filters as well since I would like to filter data in the view page.
