Spier Mackay
I own a number of knitwear items from them and it’s been hit or miss; mostly due to odd sizing and loose stitching. Figure I’d share my thoughts
-Knit polos, cotton: Fabric is good. Fit was weird. The polos are long and the sleeves are so tight on the arms they basically cut my circulation (my arms aren’t huge either). At this price point of ~50, I prefer Massimo Dutti for solid color knit polos. Spier is comparable quality to Abercrombie if you like their patterns
-Silk/cotton crewneck: Best pieces I’ve bought from Spier. Pricey, but still less than others for a similar product. Fit was perfect, material is nice and high quality, very breathable and perfect for cooler spring/summer days. Colors were nice too, I got a sage and navy one.
-100% cotton sweaters: price was so good on these on sale - like 30 usd. Colors are really good. Fit is inconsistent but better than the knit polos. Stitching isn’t great and more loose threads in a couple washes than other brands
