Has anyone tried the Spier&Mackay loafers?
In my quest to find quality loafers in Canada I noticed S&M has a pair of Blake-stitched pennys. https://www.spierandmackay.com/collection/loafers Not the biggest fan of the color but if the leather is good quality I might put that aside. Anyone try them?

Does anyone know of any menswear influencers to follow that aren't skinny?
As I try to dress better, I'd like to try and look for inspiration in guys that have a similar body shape to me. I thought I would ask the group for recommendations. That criteria doesn't have to be their whole thing. Even shops that regularly post chubbier models are fine. I'll post some that I follow below. For context: late thirties, shorter, dad bod (bigger chest, love handles). Here's who I follow already for anyone else that searches in the future. welldresseddad aimeleondad an.affordable.wardrobe coastaflicks Thanks a bunch!

Shopping online secondhand from Canada
Many posts, menswear influencers, blogs, all recommend eBay for deals on good quality secondhand clothes. I haven't found that to be true in my searches. A secondhand ocbd for $30usd will have a shipping fee equal or more than the cost, or the price itself will be $80+. After conversion, this makes no sense. Grailed is mostly the same. Poshmark tends to attract low-quality clothes. Kijiji has nothing. FB marketplace nothing. Craigslist doesn't exist here. My gut tells me that options are so limited here that a secondhand market doesn't exist in the same way as it does in the States. People hang on to the clothes they buy new, for longer. Canucks (and others), set me straight. What's the deal with online secondhand shopping from Canada if you want to dress better. Some contextual specifics: -Specifically talking about secondhand, online clothing. -Usually searching for business casual clothes, selvedge denim, sports coats, gyw boots. -eBay is the main source of frustration -In my late-thirties I'd love to open a conversation about this, or, if it's already happened, would love to be pointed to any resources. Is it as hard as I think it is or am I not looking in the right place.

Your favourite, higher quality chinos in Canada?
Hi all. I'm an office worker and my crappy dockers have worn out. I want to invest in a long-lasting pair of chinos. Those of you with dad bods, I would love your takes, but all recommendations are welcome. I'm 5'9 and stocky, and it's been so difficult to find brands that fit well on my body. I know Spier and Mackay are often recommended in Canada but I'd really like to stick to items I can try on in store. Happy to provide more details if needed. Thanks to anyone who has any ideas.
